I cannot stand people like Ellen. Reminds me when a BIL would complain during many bar-B-qs about us eating meat becase he was and sill is a vegetarian.

Give and take is good. If people know I have a dietary restriction when they invite me, it's nice to hear, "We'll have something for you. Don't worry." Or even, "Bring something along if you like. No problem." It's a two-way street, though. I'm not going to go around complaining to everyone else about what they've decided to have for themselves. That wouldn't make for good comedy like this, though. :D
