I will never forget the first time I watched this scene with Betty White back when the movie first came out. I was at home watching it on Superchannel and decided to have a bowl of cereal, I think I had only had a couple spoonfuls when Betty dropped that line and I laughed so hard that I choked on the cereal and ended up snorting half of it out my nose. Like most of us kids who grew up in the 80s watching Golden Girls, you could never picture sweet Rose say anything so foul, you always pictured her as the sweet gentle prim grandma who'd make you tea and bake cookies, so when she does say that line in the movie it's just so shockingly funny, you just can't but help falling in love with Betty like she's your sassy grandma who'll always give it to ya straight lol RIP Betty you are a class act that will be hard to follow and deeply missed.

God I love that woman. She reminds me of my grandmother. Same way, she was always 1940's proper, never a bad word my entire life. Toward the end, she'd felt she had done enough of that and started speaking her mind. My favorite day was sitting around listening to her recant a story and my father didn't want to hear it again. She told him to stfu and stop being such a whiny bitch about it. I literally fell out of my chair laughing so hard it hurt. The look on my Dad's face I'll never forget.

This was always a casting choice that confused me. Betty White was an animal lover, she loved animals very much and here she is in a role where she feeds other animals with animals. I would never say no to get White to join a movie, but one can wonders how they got her to agree to this.
@c.h.92233 жыл бұрын
She was an actress and could play Rose, though she wasn't naive at all, and she could play this role and feed a fictional cow to a fictional crocodile in a seemingly not very serious movie. I'm sure, she would have objected, if any real animal in the making of this film would have been harmed. The roles for any actor would be very limited if they would only play characters with similar beliefs. Who would play a convincing villain or sociopath?
@paulyguitary76513 жыл бұрын
What? How they got her to feed a cgi animal with another cgi animal? Her role is to protect the croc. You know, a critter that’s not all cute and fuzzy and cuddly and eats prey that still deserves protection. It sounds right up her ally if you ask me.

I love shark, alligator, crocodile movies so much, an alligator movie is also how I got potty trained I had some trauma which made me regress in potty training and my grandpa one day let me watch a syfy channel movie about alligators In the sewer and I apparently got up in the middle of it and he was like "where are you going" and I said "to pee on the alligators " and boom I was potty trained
