Dorinda's stare at her mother showed she too felt the discomfort and pain that Dr Clark was in.. Mattie Moss Clark will always be the greatest choir directness we saw on this side of heaven.. Rest On Soldier

B Gray Yes I agree. I wish Dorinda had continued in her mothers footsteps and served as Musical Director. I always say this but I do love Judith McAllister but the sound of COGIC is gone. Even the musicians, as skilled as they are don't have the same sound.

This just brought back so many memories. DR.MATTIE MOSS CLARK, served until she could not serve anymore. What rich history we have in our past leadership. For faith and staying with God..

you can see Dr . Clark in so much pain here. Dorinda looks quite concerned about her Mother's situation.

yes Dorinda looked like she wanted to just pack her mom out of there cause she was so worried about her you could look and tell the stare in her eyes

This brought tears to my eyes to see Dr. Clark and Dorinda directing together. That was Dr. Clark's last official day service as IMD President

I’ve definitely become a fan of Bettye Ransom Nelson. I’d never heard of her until about a week ago. Also, I hear a lot of Daryl Coley in her singing (He’s my Ace). Does anyone know if he studied/mentored by her at any point during the beginning of his career?

One question do you think Momma Mattie chose this song because she may have known it was almost her time to leave and truly see our Savior face to face.

Ramardo T. Hunt correct. She had her stroke one year after her foot amputation. You can tell by watching she’s only directing with one hand she NEVER directed with only one hand 😢
