So helpful to see the whole process. Feels like the real skill comes after the ‘make the darks darker and the lights lighter’ bit - when you have to work out what to do to make the painting effective. I just learned from one of your videos that you didn't start painting until you were 50, ironically enough I just turned 50 in June and started painting LOL I've always loved the idea of painting and crafting and things like that and like you I've been doing a lot of mixed media doing some art journaling etc. All of my kids are grown out of the house I'm a new grandmother and trying to find what to do with my time has been challenging until I found this. This painting that you're working on is absolutely amazing I absolutely love it. No need to respond, I just wanted you to know that we have some similarities LOL
