I just want you to know that I watch a lot of your videos. Even though, I have an extensive background in fine art. I have learned a ton from your videos. I painted in oil for 20 years and it was satisfying to a point. I sold art. I had a one person show. But watching you, has unleashed such a passion and joy. I was meant for acrylic and abstract. I studied under many published commercial oil painters who would intimate that I leaned toward abstract. I continued with representational oils. You would crack up to see my before and now. And would love to send you examples. But what I want to say is thank you. But more, I fell in love with you as much or more than your art. I find myself painting very similarly to you. But not the same. You are such a beautiful giving artists. It’s one thing to be a commercially successful artist and another to bring joy and inspiration to others. This may sound over the top. But you are the bomb💕 and have beautiful art. A huge fan, Ann PS if you are in Palm Springs… let me know.

Some time ago you mentioned having taken a course with Robert Burridge. I wasn’t so surprised to here that. He is the first KZbin artist I started to follow and still now, I think it’s been 7-8 years, I watch the new video he puts out every Monday. I cared for him for 4+ years until he passed a year ago January. I’m ready to start creating again and you’ve inspired me in so many ways. Hi Bobbie, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's wonderful that you are finding a creative outlet in painting. One thing I'd recommend i to create on paper as much as possible in the beginning. For me, paper is so much more freeing. It doesn't cost much, so there' no stress about creating a "masterpiece". Just play and have fun! Thank you! Art journaling kept me sane for the past five years… I agree about the paper and was thinking about that yesterday. I’m renting a house on the beach in Galveston for the month of February and thinking about what to bring… Not really wanting to lug a bunch of my canvases so I’ll dig through my paper supply. I’m thinking of using watercolor unless you have an alternative suggestion?! Thank you!
