Between The Wheels (Rush) for Classical Guitar Trio performed by The 18th Musician

Between The Wheels from the album Grace Under Pressure is one my favorite #rush songs. I thought it would be fun to arrange it for three classical guitars. It is not perfectly identical to the original, but somewhat close. Let me know if you think it works and maybe I will do other Rush songs the same way. Thanks for listening.

Love how you have translated these rush tracks, they work incredibly well as classical pieces, I'd love to know what Alex would think of them. Would love to hear more - Twilight Zone from 2112 and Losing it from Signals as my suggestions!

An enjoyable listen. IMHO, GUP contains some of Alex's finest playing and I consider the Between The Wheels solo to be one of his best solos of RUSH's career. Thanks for sharing this!

Captivated from beginning to end. Wow! man, that was 5 minutes when I just forgot who I was, what planet I was on and just concentrated on the music. Rush fan since 1977 and when this album came out I was "between a rock and hard stone" in my life and totally related the tracks to my own predicament. I think you just made me appreciate that piece more which until 5 mins ago I would have thought impossible. Thank you so much for keeping me on my toes as regards to Rush and their music. Your playing of this song is so incredibly beautiful. It just goes to show how thoroughly complex and sophisticated Rush's compositions are. There are so many of their songs that adopt beautifully to classical performance. There is a recording that is out there somewhere in the ether, essentially a strings group doing a classical performance of many of their best songs. Your masterful interpretation of Between The Wheels is perfection.

Thanks! Hoping to do more videos soon. I don't have sheet music or tab for the three parts. I believe I made them using a combination of a tab online and listening to the song over and over. I also watched a live version. I then memorized each part to record.
