Between These Walls - 2020 build (Cancelled)

Hi there !
Here's a little video about the last build of Between These Walls I did back in 2020.
I wanted to continue the game and add a lot more lore like the Parent's House which was really interesting for me, since the creature was basically born there. I also wanted to add some pretty strange levels with infinite corridors and stuff like that. But I was in school (4 years later, I had my diploma and I'm officially a 3D Environment Artist but I'm actually searching for a job), had a ton of work to do and little time to keep working on this game. The time passing, I had less interest in continuing BTW.
To add some lore :
I put, unintentionally, some of my personal life in this game. At the time, I lived with a person I considered my best friend but this person used me for years and also did some really bad thing that I won't talk about here ... It's later that I realized that I basically represented him through the creature of the game. A monster taking root, slowly and that stay with you everywhere you go and won't leave.
The monster represent something that keep following you, not only bad people but also the pressure from people, the anxiety, the will of people that you didn't asked for.
So now, I think you'll understand why all these cardboard boxes ahah. These are all these stuff you carry with you through all places you live in. Not only your real stuff but also your mental state, mental struggles.
As the title mention, the game has been cancelled since I don't want to work on it ... but sometimes I have the envy to remaster it since I have a lot more experience in the video game industry but also because the appartment in the game is basically the one I'm living in but mirrored. So everyday I have this nostalgia of when I was making the game for the gamejam and I'm like "heh why not remaking this game ..." (Also because I don't like it, it could have been so much better but it was a gamejam and only had 2 weeks)
Well I'll say, not for the moment but we never know ...
BUT, I'm actually working on a game (not really horror but with some horror/liminal element). The game talks about the difference between the old and new generation of people, how we see the thing differently but also how things have changed in life and in the world compared to the old days. It's been nearly 1 year I'm on it with someone dear to me. We did a little studio named "Daepo Corp", the game is progressing really well and I'll upload a little teaser as soon as it'll be ready.
I'm really glad with what we have done. I'll also make a little gamejam in october with a very good friend of mine so stay tuned !
AND, I have a TONS of video game ideas, I'm constantly writing stuff, random ideas or being inspired by everything I see in life, in streets, in landscapes ... I can't escape this ahah so I'll be making video games, I want to make small but impactful video games.
