I watched a few of her interviewes recently and she said about 60% of the album was written over the past 7 years. Alot of the songs were supposed to be apart of the albums her record label never released. Her original contract was for 4 albums and she sadly never relased any albums. I can only image how much material and songs she is sitting on. I cant wait for her to get the recognition she deserves. ! Also the little girl on the album is her little sister.

I have some info for you about the album: The girl on the album cover is RAYE’s younger sister who is supposed to resemble younger RAYE. RAYE’s old record label wouldn’t let her release her album because they didn’t think it would be successful (hence the lyric “I’ve waited seven years for this moment). So to be petty and to promote the release of her new album, she got an installation of the instruments on the album cover to be put in front of her old record label. 🤪💅
