Cheers Craig. What a stunning morning for a parkrun- absolutely beautiful. You mentioned the cows….. I was once travelling to Hornsea Marathon and we passed through Beverley as ParkRun was taking place. There were cows on the course and in the road, everywhere in fact. It was crazy. 😆 Sounds like you had a top day. You got chance to meet people too which was nice. 🙂

Cheers Colin, it was for sure one of my favourite parkrun mornings. I have to say, starting this channel and zipping all over to do these parkruns is one of the best things I ever did with my life. I was there yesterday, without doubt the best pre run atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at a parkrun & I loved the conditions of the course itself! Well done to you both

Thank you, it was a fantastic atmosphere and the run could not have been better. Not usually a fan of off road, but this was perfect. The sunrise and long shadows always help too 🥰

Haha oh I love a bit of sassy, proper had me chuckling 😂 Yeah the climb wasn’t the easiest especially with starting on a climb, but I think the lumpiness is where the difficulty comes from (with a dodgy ankle) but navigated it ok so another few days strapped it should be fine. Solid parkrun though, really happy we went ☺️

I would say 'how did you run in 3 layers Mandy' but it was sooo cold today I don't blame you haha 🤣 and Craig, I'm glad your ankle is better. Mine still hurts where I fell over the fire truck 😂 (at least I have the excuse it was small and hiding under a scarf 🫣) if I hadn't seen a rowing machine I'd be going for my eyes tested 🤣 glad you are ok though x

Haha cheers Becky. In my defence, I’d propped a bean bag chair over the rowing machine so it was kinda hidden 😆😆 I’ve had a support on it most of the week and it seems to have helped thankfully. Hope yours hurry’s up and does one x ps. You’re completely right though, the old eyes could do with a looking at, they are like the instagram filter lo-fi atm. It’s all very disappointing when I put my good glasses on 🤣

Thanks Becky, we were truly happy and grateful to the wonderful team at Beverley Westwood, only 5 events went ahead in our region. Haha I usually get too hot rather quickly running and towards the end of lap 1 I was regretting the hoodie but not enough to take it off 😂

Thanks Andy. Hopefully one of the executives at itv see this and agree 🤣 It was absolutely stunning and the volunteers were next level. We were buzzing all the way home from this. We could have gone to Leeds but the snow on the ground here is like rocks of ice and with my ankle I would have definitely landed on my face 🤣 Seen you’d been there on a walk, not good. Don’t think we’re gonna get much in the way of good enough weather to help until around March too. Crappy time of year 🙁

We met the run director from Burnage parkrun yesterday at Beverley and he was saying how bad it was 😢
