InJr High I was so the boyscout keeping my best friend out of trouble. 1 day he wanted to ditch and I could not convince him not to. The next day his mother would tell me that I was the one that should have kept him out of trouble and that she expected more of me. I guess that was my dark side.

I mean AA does help people but I can't lie that it does have a cultish feel to it. Even the whole vibe of no one else can connect with you on the level other alcoholics can because those people are "normies" and they don't have any problems in life.
