Hi queen the car was in a flood the way you can tell is the rust and residue on the vehicle under the hood and the floor inside hope this helps for future rentals if you see these signs it's an indication of a flood vehicle ....Enjoy your content keep up the good cutie ❤

Sister your experience and information about Merida has been quite useful .So for me as much as i like the safety and the housing affordability that Merida can offer also,other information that I gather from other youtubers about Merida I'll be trying my Mexico experience starting somewhere else. I am considering San Miguel or Mazatlan. from what I've been studying on those cities it's less bugs ,you can flush your toilet paper, no power outages and hopefully no rental car scams😢 however, I like your channel. I will still be tuning in to your Channel

Hola, you cannot flush toilet paper everywhere in San Miguel de Allende. I lived there for 4 years. It definitely depends on the place. Also, they do experience power outages in San Miguel. Perhaps not frequently but it does happen.Good luck!

WOW!!!! I can’t believe anyone is renting cars in that condition. They will send more money to fix a car broken down on the side of the road than what it takes to do maintenance on the car after every rental. Sorry you had to go through this..

I have used TEMCO and have had wonderful experiences with them. They are pricey but worth it. I will rent from them again. I did try VELOZ and they gave me a bum car. Bad breaks and broken airbag sensor. Plus, I didn’t like old boy’s attitude! So I spun the block - literally- and returned that car and asked for another one. But I won’t rent from Veloz again.

So very sad ... that vehicle looks as if they had a fender bender on the way to your crib... if you wouldn't have bought the damage to their attention, would they have tried to scam you for the repairs? IjS... there's no way the could've dropped that seecond piece of S**t off on me! Thanks for sharing..be sade and stay WOKE! They aint ready for your strength and your confidence/ability to stand-up to them, holding them accountable!

It is sad that this is what they offer yet try to make you pay regular prices . I am very meticulous with the photos and video for every little scratch and defect, please believe!!

@@malikahonthemove In America I rented cars a lot at a point. I would take pictures and video before starting the car. Never had any issues- Hertz- but now I know you can't be too cautious!

Just glad you are safe! Thanks for the info. Q: Have you ever tried Costco...apparently they have rentals. Q. What is the extra cost for the rental car place to deliver the car and do they also come and pick it back up?

When he told me it comes on when the oil is changed and the light needed to be reset, I knew he thought I was stupid! You are so right! And why was the oil brown as molasses then?

@@malikahonthemove funny! 🤣Not really funny to experience, but I mean the length people will go to here. Too many people here lack basic integrity. I could tell a bunch of stories of my experiences here in Mexico especially last year, and some this year. I moved towns in November.

You absolutely should bring your car since you already have one. I hate it when I see videos that say you don't need a car here. It makes a world of difference! Especially if you want to explore.
