Bangkok, Thailand - BEWARE OF COMMON SCAMS! Things We Wish We Knew Before We Travel to Thailand!

We just can't stress enough how important it's to do research/homework before visiting a place! Without any knowledge/information/awareness, it's really easy to get scammed!! We love Thailand but we have to share this very common scam happened to us at the floating market near Bangkok! Hope this video was useful and increase your awareness when going to Bangkok, Thailand!

Sad video but at least you were able to go to Amphawa night market. What do you mean by car and by boat? Did you take the boat from Bangkok? Can you take a car from Bangkok to the market? How about coming back from Damnoen or Amphawa market? I really hate getting scammed especially in foreign countries. It will ruin my entire vacation. Happy travels.

Hi Tonyo, Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, you can drive or take a taxi from Bangkok to the Damnoen Saduak floating market main entrance without having to pay for a boat ride! The market is free by foot for both markets! You can tour around the floating markets for free and decide later you want a boat ride! As what happened to us was that we were told that going to the market was by boat only and already closed! There’s Grab, Bolt and InDrive(similar to Uber) in Thailand. Recommend use Grab than taxi or tuk-tuks! Happy travels!
