Beware of False Gospels - Nate Pickowicz

In the days of the early church, false gospels were being brought in by false teachers. Our day is no different. Many are promoting that the Biblical gospel is incomplete and are wanting to add to it. But no matter what, we must not let ourselves be shifted from the true, Biblical, complete gospel as recorded in the Bible.

The biggest problem today with Christians is that many are afraid to offend others when they speak the truth. We need to be bold, stand up and speak the truth!! We are commanded to spread the good news. How can anyone that claims to be a Christian not want to shout it from the rooftops that only Jesus can save. So many will perish because they don't know the truth. Go out and tell the world about Christ. Tell your family, friends, neighbors, your co-workers. There's a reason why Christ hasn't come yet. They're still many more that need to hear the Gospel, the true Gospel. Not the demonic diversions such as Catholisim, Islam, Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses. Pray to God to help you minister to the lost. Time is short and many more still need to hear the truth.

I go to a Baptist Church, and our Pastor throws out words that are not biblical. It is a small congregation, and they believe every word he says. Some of which is not biblical. I wish I could find a bible teaching church, and I am looking. But there are SO MANY FALSE TEACHINGS.

Thanks Ps Nate, I've been getting a little distracted lately by all kinds of different doctrines across different denominations. It is so refreshing to hear the doctrine of all doctrines, to remember why I'm digging at different doctrines, for the sake of the gospel. Amen brother. God bless the brethren.

Thank you sir! I guess you're saying that there's nothing that we can do to earn our salvation other than to believe what Jesus did for us, accept Him as our savior and repent for our sins. Does repent mean that we only have to admit that our sinful nature and what we do is sin in God's eyes or do we have to turn from our sins the best we can in order to be saved? Is our belief sufficient for salvation without trying real hard not to sin?

It's my understanding that true repentance goes hand in hand with true faith. To repent means to change one's mind, to turn to God in honesty, humility and faith.. coming from the conviction of the Holy Spirit about one's sin, about righteousness and judgement.. to see the glory of the light of the Gospel, to fall upon Christ, and call upon the Name of the Lord.

Yes If we truly believe in christ we will be saved. God dose call everyone to run from sin and we will always sin even as believers in christ. And when we sin as Believers in Christ we ask for forgiveness and he is faithful and he will forgive us, that's his Amazing Grace and there's nothing we can do to earn it. just by believing in his son. Read 1 Peter. Romans and Galatians. Do not lean on your own understanding, but ask for the Holy Spirit to to lead you to this truth. Conway has also preached on this, as has Paul Washer. But read first, then listen to them not his subject.

omc4251 you turn from sin and ask God to give you the Holy Spirit so you stop practicing sin. Be baptized for the remission of sins by your faith in Jesus Christ

I agree for the most part nate but the bible doesent say repent of sins that's works salvation We change our mind upon conviction .. repentance towards God realizing we sinned against a Holy God and Faith in Christ Jesus ? Unless you can explain this but we dont stop sins to be saved.. unless I'm not understanding this properly
