Beware of Judiaizers

Judizers means following unbiblical laws. Not Gods laws. Gods laws do not change from old to new testament. Gods laws are not jewish but both jew and gentile have the same laws of God.

I was thinking that... Isn't the Judaism when the Pharisees added to the word of God? It's not God's law, but when man adds or takes away from his word then it becomes corrupted. It's like Christianity, there is over 45000 different denominations which God also said to be careful who bewitched you, God's word will never change.

Nope, it does change. We are now under the new covenant. We are not saved by keeping the law. We don't need to be circumcised anymore now. That is what the new testament teaches. Either you don't know that, or you have chosen to disagree with the Bible. So you are wrong, and she is right.

@@danielh4621 God never changes for He is the same yesterday, today and forever. However, the covenants do change from old to new. The laws under the old covenant are different than the laws under the new covenant. God‘s covenants are significant in that they are the way he relates to his people. You must decide whether you are living under the old covenant or under the new covenant of the grace and glory of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. Do some covenant research and you will gain understanding of these important differences, Heb. 8-10.

@ The law of God was not abolished; it was fulfilled by Christ. It represents the perfect righteousness of God which will never change. What has changed though is that under the New Covenant that law having been fulfilled by Christ for us, we do not have to strive to perform it in our human effort. By trusting in Christ’s finished, perfect and eternal work we get the perfection and righteousness of those laws imputed to us by faith. We will never forget those laws, but the context in which we relate to those laws has changed in the New Covenant.

This is great! And it reminds me of this Bible verse: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:8-10 It is interesting how it changes from not by "works" (no good mentioned) before Christ, to doing "good works" after we are created in Christ Jesus. So we are created in Christ to do what is good, it has even been prepared what we should do. Amazing! And part of our freedom in Christ through the Holy Spirit gives us the power to say "No" to sin, Satan and the world. And "Yes" to believing in Christ and loving others like He commanded us and doing the good works He prepared for us. Amen! ❤

I feel ashamed to say that I almost fell for this. But then, they will always said some phrases that got me like "wait a minute..." so thank God for adding more mercies over the mercies that had been poured over me. I am a trauma survivor, maybe that is why I have been so susceptible for these liars.

On this teaching, I’m most captivated by this idea that hierarchy is an OT concept. Do you elaborate on that anywhere? I am familiar with the verse in Galatians that says there is now neither Greek nor Barbarian, Scythian, Male nor female, etc. (paraphrase)

@ Yes, read Christ’s words in Matthew 20:24-28, “It shall not be so among you.” True sheep serve, help, minister, and assist just as the Ultimate Servant did. They do not rule over or “lord it” over others. That is a mark of corrupt leadership. Hierarchy can be a blessing when servanthood is the purpose within structure and boundaries. But those are altogether different than ruling over others. Without the freedom to exercise our God given exousia in using our gifts, we are enslaved.
