Thank you Holy Spirit, thank you sister. I just want to share this testimony when I did not know the Lord. I had everything that I need, family, friends, house, car, a stable job, and so on. Even though I had all of this, I had no peace. One really bad day I heard a voice, "it would be better to just sleep forever than to live this life". Back then I thought this word came from me and I know myself that I would never think this way. I had fear that I started to think this way, so I looked up and told God "I give up and you can do whatever your will is for my life". From that day God started to speak to me through other people and he guided me to His Word. He gave me a desire to read the whole Bible and I got to know Jesus from His Word! I am so thankful to our Father in Heaven for giving me this desire to know Him. I love you Father, thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and thank you Holy Spirit for your fruits!❤❤❤

That makes soooo much sense!! Just thinking of a particular situation. But in hinds sight it definitely against his word. So, also knowing the word so that you know what is truth and what is not of the father. Someone said it’s like your best friend when you hear her voice or his voice anywhere you know it without a doubt even 30 years later if you’ve never heard from them in a while, and you will actually actually remember what their sound instantaneously. So getting i to Ahayah’s word will help you recognize his voice instantaneously. Like a mommy recognizes their child’s voice. Or a child recognizes their parents voice it’s almost Telepathic.

I mean… in this case, the content of what being said is very unbiblical. Like, I don’t care how soothing the voice sounds. Our first parameter of discerning what we receive should _always_ be the actual content by evaluating it against the Word of God, just like what the Bereans did in Acts 17:10-12. Honestly, I’d say how we _feel_ about what we receive is secondary because there have been many times that I have received harsh words from God and did not feel good about them at all because I was being convicted of sin.
