In my state you can talk at a football game when a band is performing, but at a contest if you are the member of another band and you talk loudly or you talk loud enough you and your band can get in trouble. Trust me I know some people who did it and they got in some big trouble by the contest officials. It happened at my first contest in marching season right has we took the field. They had to announce for everyone to shut up. I love this band so much just a wonderful band GO 110!

@TheWarHunters I had to stand right next to people who were not interested evidently, to get better angle. This was OU performing for the first time in 2011 at a HS game.

This song is by Lady Gaga??? We started playing it in band and I wanted to find out what the words were to the song. My mind has been blown.

I challenge you to find it in a video before Dr. Suk took direction of the band.

@br3ntron Actually no it doesn't pop in reference to music is representative of the upbeat "pop" from the frequent high pitched pulses in the music. Not like Pop culture. Also Lady Gaga has no "Pop" songs, she does dance music. Michael Jackson did "Pop". This isn't me stating an opinion, there is a set structure required for each different style of music, and I am using these classifications.

and why is the field so small?
@oldtimedrumcorps12 жыл бұрын
Hey yur getting there. This isnt bad like some of the other stuff you do. You can march and you play with style and class . This arrangement works because there substance to it. Still a bit too much stop tme . Your band has the musicians just challenge them with drill and depth. Nice sound.

@songcritic14 Yeah. I think they should be silent, even though it's a game and not a concert. It's comming manners to shut up when someone is performing music like this (except from cheering and clapping hands at the right places.)

I didn't mean I didn't love this song, it's one of my favorites. I just prefer Party Rock Anthem. Sorry, I probably should've worded that better.

The awkward moment when a marching band does it better than the actual band/musicians
@DrockDrummer112 жыл бұрын
@AntiBat01 I know what its called...I was marched with the 110 in 2004 and 2005. Before that i was a huge fan and obsessed with them for years. Until the past couple of years the 110 never marched backward! They never even used a roll step, its was all high step. Talk to any old time 110 alumn and they will tell you the same. In attemp to improve the bands musicality Dr. Suk has started implimenting more corp style marching just in recent years. I dont like it. Its just not thier style
