Man. I remember being in 7th grade watching this. It made me love marching band. Here i am almost 9 years later marching Drum Corps International. Coming back and watching this and BOOM im a 13 year old kid again sitting behind a computer in awe

This is the last song of the halftime show, which is always a "dance chart" for the Marching 110. The first two/three songs of every performance feature marching. It's the band's tradition, has been that way since the 1960's. Search for other Marching 110 videos here on KZbin for examples.

My marching band directors contacted the OU marching band directors to ask if they could give us the sheet music and the dance for this and they let us use it and it was really fun to do.

Lindbergh High School Spirit of Saint Louis tried this for our homecoming game with a bunch of 8th graders and it was a huge hit with the crowd and we tried to do a similar dance. It was so much fun! :)

Just to echo this. The auditions are one of the hardest parts of the band (not that it's easy to be in the band). It is probably one of the most stressful things incorporated with us. I made it my freshmen year, and my 0 (sophomore) year, but had to drop because of military and my dad's brain cancer. It is still the one thing I regret to this day. the band is a family, and it is one of the most support filled groups you will ever find. I did manage to make it back my 5th year. But it's worth it.

The music auditions usually involve playing the fight song (which is no picnic, trust me) and sight reading. Music audition vary between sections, so I can't speak for the Altos. Marching auditions have you moving roughly 80 yards down the field and back doing various pivots, holds, marks, etc. And if you've ever seen the 110 march, you'll understand the following advice: start a running routine now. You won't regret it.

I'm in the Penn State Blue Band and when we both played together at halftime the other week I gotta say they were really good. Although they do move around, like, alot, almost too much. They're like a southern band but up North haha. Still really good band though it was nice performing with them.
