This is such a lovely layout and it is great to see that so much work is being done on it! I think one of the reasons I like this layout so much is because it is set in winter, and I find that there really aren't that many layouts that are set in winter with loads of snow besides Christmas layouts, so it is really nice to see variety, as I find most layouts are set in spring or summer and there really aren't many autumn and winter layouts!

The layout is superb - and just like 'real lfe' the white snow affects the filming in that the need to avoid over exposing the snow means that the trains are often a little less exposed (darker) than when filmed in other weather conditions. An observation - not a complaint. One thing that surprised me was seeing street and other lights fully illuminated. I am too young to have experienced the war myself but I was expecting to see evidence of the blackout.

Absolutely, it certainly makes it a challenge to film but also adds to the atmosphere! We comments on the street lights quite a lot with this layout. They’re not on all the time (they’re activated by viewers using a push button) so there’s a bit of modeller’s license going on to add another feature to the layout. Thanks for watching 🎅🏻
