I saw MJ in concert twice. I have seen Bey in concert. I love MJ. Lord, KNOW I DO, but I think at this point Bey got him beat. She is only 36 and she is already where he was at his pinnacle and she has more years to go.

As much as I love Bey, I don't think that the following generations will put her on a high pedestal like MJ. He in my opinion had such a unique way to perform/present a song to people. Bey has a lot of GREAT shows, but the high level of emotion that you can feel in MJ's performances is missing.

there is footage of her I AM tour where several people actually do pass out crying from her singing. I felt the same way until I actually looked at her concerts. people treat her the same way MJ was treated. I love both and good people can def disagree but I have to give my vote to the current queen at this point. Both are royalty in my book though and can I say how fantastic it is that pop royalty has almost been exclusively black for decades?! just saying. Elvis was the last white king and Madonna was the last white queen of pop. So, I will take Beyonce and MJ any day. Thanks for your responses. I appreciate that so much.

Mondez Durden Oh yes definitely you are so right I remember that I Am World Tour show from Beyoncé back in 2009 where she was about to perform her song Crazy in Love" and there were several people passing out in the front row that needed to be carried lol

sorry not sorry and what makes you think Beyoncé “needs 500 dancers”?? Those dancers were hired because that was Beyoncé’s creative visión to have them. Beyoncé doesn’t need 500 dancers either, it was an optional choice on her part. Beyoncé is praised at the level that she is at because she puts on the best shows even without a bunch of dancers or props

sorry not sorry sorry not sorry yes she would. Beyoncé has a reputation of putting on the greatest shows and being the best live performer of her generation for a reason. Due to her stellar live vocals, choreography/dancing, unmatched stage prevention, visuals, and showmanship. Technology has never been something that Beyoncé has needed as a crutch. You’re forgetting Beyoncé debuted in 2003 and was already outperforming all of her peers making a name for herself just Through her vocals, dancing, and presence on stage alone

Yea she’s already there. She had performances better than the Coachella. Coachella is just the better festival that she’s performed at.She just had a band and dancers. That’s kinda regular for her level. React to her formation tour. And the Jay-Z concert she did. But for the formation tour it was production through the whole concert. But I’ll give bey another concert of the formation tour for her to be official on a Michael Jackson level. Ik some people don’t wanna give her prompts because she’s a female. But she can be the female of Michael Jackson. R.I.P to Michael Jackson tho.

sorry not sorry Michael this is it tour was gonna have a lot of back ground dancers and production for a 50 date tour in London. Probably more cities if he had made it happen . Michael 30th anniversary had a lot of back ground dancers. But she is a singer that’s an instrument. But Beyoncé didn’t always have that. Beyoncé experience didn’t have that much dancers. Nor Beyoncé I am tour didn’t have that much dancers. Nor The Mrs.Carter Show didn’t have that much dancers. Michael Jackson probably couldn’t afford that many dancers. That’s her style every artist has to find there own style. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Beyoncé has performed solo and dance solo by her self. Michael Jackson MTV awards performance had a lot of back ground dancers. She didn’t use that many dancers on her tours just like Michael Jackson didn’t use that many dancers on his tours. Beyoncé is that girl for 2000’s decade rather if you like it or not. There’s nobody else in this generation that’s even close enough to Michael Jackson nor Whitney Houston. You don’t have to like her music but she’s that bitch regardless. I honestly like that style I grew up in high school band having at least 100 members in it. So what’s your point. I’m confused.

@@jamesmills3216 I'm a big fan of Beyoncé's music and I do thing her coachella performance overall is better than any MJ performance but do I think that performance would've been the same if it wasn't for the HUNDREDS of backup dancers, stage production and advanced technology? No. Her dancing during the performance wasn't even her best, neither were her vocals. But the performance overall was amazing. However, I do think MJ remains the greatest entertainer of all time. Beyonce is definitely the closest one To him (we also gotta mention Michael never had her same technology, stages etc) but while Beyonce gives amazing shows, Michael was the show. I don't know if you get the difference. Beyonce gave the best performance overall (coachella), but Michael is the better entertainer. I never said he never hired backup dancers, and yes he could afford hundreds of backup dancers at a point in his career he was 3 times richer than Beyonce, but still his best performances was just him on stage (Billie Jean , human nature etc) his charisma, energy, dancing, passion and soul, stage presence were and still are untouchable

Maybe u just come from a different generation I don’t know. But I’m sorry like I said I give her couple more concerts to be on Mj Level. Beyoncé has had solo performances. So her having all female dancers that’s just her style because Janet Jackson use a lot of dancers to so. Production is just how you really get that money. I appreciate that because she gives people who work with her a chance to be great on that stage. Like the band from Coachella and the dancers. I don’t see nothing wrong with that it’s. Usually famous people don’t really think outside the box. I understand how ya feel about Michael. But she’s a female so she can be the female of Michael Jackson. It don’t matter once you on a superior level people do use a lot of up to date tools. Michael Jackson this is it was gonna be a space man coming out from under the stage for intro of that concert.
