One of the most recognizable figures in contemporary music, Beyoncé rose to fame as the central member of pop-R&B group Destiny's Child before embarking on a multi-platinum, record-breaking solo career in 2001. Booming record sales, Grammy awards, movie roles, and marriage to rapper & CEO Jay-Z, combined to heighten her profile in the 2000s. Billboard named her female artist of the decade, while the R.I.A.A. acknowledged that, through 64 gold and platinum certifications, she was the decade's top-selling artist. Once she released her fifth solo album in 2013, it was evident that the singer, songwriter, and dancer wasn't merely an entertainer but a progressive artist as well. Get lost in the ultimate story of modern day superstardom, as we take you through the incredible Journey of Beyoncé.

Fame doesn't come easy. Beyonce has worked her ass off and she deserves all the fame she has today! Lots of female singers can really sing but can they dance AND sing during a concert like Bey? Each song she sings has it's own choreography so she has to remember the steps as well as the lyrics for each song. She's amazing!

I just can't get over how sweet she comes across, though I know she has some toughness in her. Reminds me of a Bible verse,"Be tough as a lion, but gentle as a lamb". If anyone would make smile of the year, it would be Beyounce. Love that sweet little girl smile, that is so genuine.. Almost makes you want to cry if somebody was to hurt her. I even got sad when they said she went through 2yrs depression. Love this young lady. Wish her only the best.

I liked best her comment, in The Fighting Temptations ", about people talking negative about her, she said her mama told her that the more people rubbed sand paper over her name, her image, they will just get old, rough, and ugly, and she will just get smoother. Her words came true, because she is smooth as silk. I really believe she has divine protection over her life, due mostly by her sweet spirit, and the best attitude I've seen.✌

It's so amazing how Beyonce's life has rolled out, from someone spotting the singer talent in her, as a little girl. Never knew Kelly was raised as her sister, that's beautiful. Kelly always had that pretty movie star face, but Beyonce definitely had that boss hogg body, and she carries it well. What I like best about Beyonce is that sweet, little girl smile she graciously gives to the camera, even to this day. Like she's never camera shy, or get out my face, but a smile like she wouldn't hurt a fly. So sad, she went through that 2yr depression, but it seems like God was using that time to prepare her for this road of stardom. Always thought she was an incredible singer, loved her in the movies I've seen her in. And no doubt, she is on that level of superstar as Michael❤, and she has the heart❤to match, too. Not forgetting Michelle, who I listen to her gospel songs, now. Even back then she had that gospel in her, as she describes the message of survival, she was telling people it was a song of hope and victory for having overcome whatever they went through. I pray all 3, stay blessed. ✌❤🙏

And then Lemonade came to polish everything. My greatest inspiration. I knew her around 2005-2006, hearing Crazy In Love and Upgrade U. Everyone would be Beyoncé to me, even Rihanna on her 'Umbrella' video would be Beyoncé. I never knew that Dangerously In Love was also Beyoncé's song then. Never expected her to sing a slow jam of a love song. Whenever you'd see a pop dancing artist, you wouldn't really expect them to be soulful, talented singers and songwriters. That was kinda rare to me then but today we expect it whenever we see a new Ariana Grande coming. What I knew was also that Irreplaceable is hers, I would call it 'To the left, to the left'. And also Listen... Atleast I could recognize her. But didn't know about Destiny's Child history. Moved from the Western Cape, Khayelitsha, to the Eastern Cape, Tsomo around 2007. Then heard 'Single Ladies'. Would sing like 'I'm a single lady, I'm a single lady'. When I was in Grade 8 (2011), I got to know 'Halo' and 'Hello'. Everyone in my class would think it's the same song until I researched about it and understood the difference in the names. Got to 'Broken-hearted girl', 'Radio', 'Ego', 'If I Were A Boy' and more. Knew so much about her. 2012, I saw her video for 'I Was Here' and 'Run The World (Girls)'. I was already her fan. Read her biography time and again. Researched about her discography. When 'Drunk In Love' came, I was her biggest fan. 'Pretty Hurts', 'XO' and the whole album. I grew through Beyoncé music and world. She's been with me from my childhood until today, until 'Everything Is Love'.

Fadzai Nyatanga.... People say she sold her soul because of her of the questionable stuff she does and who she is married to. JayZ literally calls himself God and says he’s an atheist and mocks Jesus(who Bey claims to believe in) Most of their videos have underlined devil references. Like in Hold Up Bey says she uses the Bible to clean during her periods. Then claims she believes in God. Watch their latest video it shows s fallen angel(the devil) then pawns to the Carters. Then Bey is dressed as Mary. Bey also(like most artist) do the 666 signs(those are real) That’s why they say it. Some people are hating on her success but not all. Like me, I think she’s talented but she very much does some weird devil approved shit.

Hot Chocolate This is an obvious reference to a spiritual cleansing given she used the Bible to protect her reproductive organs. This is NOT to be taken literally. To “plug” your “menses” is to stem the flow of menstrual flow during a woman’s cycle, usually via a tampon or associated method. In the scene we see a Bible, and assume Bey is using pages to stop her menstrual bleeding. Menstruation itself is considered an “unclean” activity in the Bible. “And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.” -Leviticus 15:19
