Honestly Demi Lovato was the first artist that I found when I was a teenager who showed that she was human and had mental health issues. When they leaked photos of her cutting and then she wrote skyscraper after getting out of the mental hospital that changed my life and let me know that I wasn't alone and that people can have issues and still be successful and/or famous. It meant alot to me to see that she had some of the same issues as me and was still a badass amazing artist.

You are such an incredible person to be vulnerable in telling your story . I'm so proud of you . My youngest daughter is 11 and going through a little of what you went through, having no friends and she gets social anxiety and feels like she is a burden to other kids so she doesn't want to interrupt anyone. I constantly tell her she is so smart and beautiful and try to get her to talk to other kids but she's very shy . I didn't know if you have any advice to help me show her how amazing she is . I think that her biggest issue is no relationship with her father. After 8 yrs he decided that he doesn't have a bond with her . So he doesn't want to see her . It breaks my heart ❤

I can't help at noticing that she wanted to be like Amy Winehouse, and seeing Amy's documentary you see how Demi could've ended up like her if it wasn't for all the support she had and Amy didn't. Melani Rodriguez I see what you’re saying and I mostly agree but my brother struggles with alcohol and drug problems too. I like Oak as a producer so much more than that first dude. That “in a perfect world” comment was annoying, as if he was doubting her skills; and she had to answer back about how it’s her album and it should be perfect. And then Oak is just over here gushing over and appreciating every take she does

Disney is always pressuring kids to be this perfect role model and its just impossible
@lisalee8075
@lisalee8075 4 жыл бұрын
Sorry to disagree, perfect of just being your age not acting to be something your not. Lots of kids do that. you have to accept yourself, but parents have a big role to this, this is why society is going bad because kids are choosing their life not their parents.
@Das644
@Das644 4 жыл бұрын
@@lisalee8075 I'm not sure if you meant to say "kids do not choose their lives, but choose their parents' instead. If you didnt, it isn't why society is rotting. Parents shouldnt choose anybody's way of life. It's unfair because kids hate being told what to do, and that is why most of our kids becomes rogue. To prove their ability to think on their own, or some sort of independence
@lisalee8075
@lisalee8075 4 жыл бұрын
@@Das644 what i mean is that the parents have a big role. From letting the kid do whatever they want won't make him learn the limits or better yet consequences. Society is so granted to have siple things that in other country would be fary tail, my point is that the more simple the life of the child is the less complex it will get for the child in the future. Reality is accepting who you; are pretty or ugly, you are you, no one else could be you. Knowing your weaknesses and knowing things other don't know , make you wiser and trust me no can beat that. There is a saying the better man is better till the weaker man say let him do it. So, only you can stop this bad people. And the only way you will have confidence if parents build it in a young age.

This is just my humble but I believe I know this sounds oblivious but the reason why she is on drugs because of the pressure of the entertainment industry like instead just appreciating her talents they want more and more from her taking a tole from her.
@lisalee8075
@lisalee8075 4 жыл бұрын
@@jesusburgos1255 yes it is specially at young age, thats why she needed her parents the most. The music industry is not easy, specifically if you are ambitious. Overall parents play a big role, they didn't give her the strong fundation. By that i mean to be confident of who she is, no matter what the world may say, which is hard to do. But im glad she is realizing that now and i hope she stay strong ^^

It’s crazy that all these 2000’s era Disney actors and actresses were put through all of this at such a young age. It’s mind boggling that 14 year olds had to deal with all of this stuff publicly. I’m glad that all of these stars have gotten help and become the awesome people they are today.

Lovatic Hiddlestoner Yeah, the really sad thing that I believe is that had she been just a few years older and had worked for the company at a time where it wasn’t all about teenyboppers I don’t think it would have escalated as far as it did. She still would have struggled naturally with her background but had she been working for the company just a few years prior I don’t think it would have escalated as far.
