I'll put it this way. The music industy has turned into McDonald's. They serve you low quality and people eat it just to eat it. Beyoncé refuses. @yvedliedauphin94262 жыл бұрын
MJ still wrote most of his songs and 90% of his hits tho, and he’s literally in the songwriter hall of fame, so wrong comparison. However, I agree, the beauty of a song resides in the power of the delivery. And Bey knows how to deliver
@nadiahossain36512 жыл бұрын
Beyoncé has written songs. A lot of her earlier stuff including destiny’s child songs she wrote. She can do it if she wants too but she’s such a perfectionist she probably doesn’t feel like she can write to a standard that she wants to meet at this point in her career. Who knows. She delivers where other artists that do write can’t, such as delivery and live performances (singing amazingly live whilst dancing nonstop). Michael Jackson was a rare breed that could do it all.

I can’t say this tops self-titled as my favorite Beyoncé album, at least not yet. Can’t even for sure say I prefer it over B’Day. But I can immediately say that it’s a solid, unique, unified work. It’s difficult to do disco or funk or vogue nowadays without making it corny or reductive (ahem-Drake-ahem). But Beyoncé made it sound fresh and sexy and risky and messy. I wasn’t even that hyped for this album. But yeah, she did that. It could have used a few less tracks though. My favs so far are probably: Alien Superstar, Cuff It, Summer Renaissance, America Has A Problem. Lastly, one thing about Jack is that he gonna find some way to throw in some shade about Jay-Z’s looks 😅.

A lot of the songs on here are a reference to ballroom culture in the black gay community so a lot of what she's saying on certain songs folks ain't gonna understand but the album is great! Different from what she's done in the past but that's what you do when you've been in the game as long as she has! ❤️ OH and I think for people criticizing the album they wanted a more mainstream commercial sound or hip-hop/R&B sound and because this album has so many different musical influences and sounds that people aren't familiar with they automatically dismiss it and say they don't like it, however because of your taste in music is so widely ranged you appreciate it obviously! Lol Great reaction Jack! ❤️ The album is really about paying tribute to ballroom and her Gay Uncle!

Beyoncé has been very sperimental since always and you might not like some songs but the thing is she gives you different and makes you want to replay that song you didn't really catch the first time. Some of her songs take time to appreciate but because there's a lot because it's studied and full of ideas. Some songs from Lemonade didn't get to me like "6 inch" but now I can tell I keep going to that song because I've never heard a song like that, lyrics melody production and everything. That's the thing. It's getting harder and harder to appreciate a long song because we're used to quick singles as she said in an interview. And that's one of the reasons why Beyoncé's music is not for everyone Also another thing about beyonce is that she does everything that people are not doing at the moment, talking about genre, visuals, choreos, costumes, performances, VOCALS. Productions now are so lame and people are lazy, they don't even care to sing anymore while she gives you production and voice always everytime Now everybody's doing crazy performances and costumes and the songs sound the same and what is she doing? Simple, white lyrics or black screen, a work that has 3 acts. Her songs are grown, you need time to appreciate them and they never get old because they are studied and full of work, passion and studying, I mean find me another song like "freakum dress" Now, I'm not saying you can't criticize her work, that's not my point. My point is either you like Beyoncé either you don't, and that's because she's an artist and she can't always follow the industry, it's not her thing. The fact that there are already so many contradicting opinions on her album already speaks loud about her music's impact. She can't be unseen, she's brave and she's not scared of stepping out. She gives you rhythm she shakes up things. She did it again, we were all expecting and hoping for another Beyoncé or Lemonade era but we could've never had that because once it's done it's done, she's already thinking in the future but always bringing past (dangerously in love), blow and get me bodied, beychella vibes. Two things she always keeps the same: 1) she makes music that makes you feel things and makes you move. You can't be bored or not moved at all listening her music 2)she makes music you'll want to listen to even in 10 years. She works guys, she doesn't write songs like WAP, body ody ody, I'm a savage classy moody ratchet etc, who wants to listen to that in 10 years? It's not a song you want to replay, like a lot of songs that came out these few years. What about say my name, Sweet dreams, 7/11, Naughty girl, single ladies, Love drought, freakum dress, deja vu, Rocket, Yonce, I care? Beyoncé always giving quality works, either it's a hit either its an unknown song (die with you) Artists always putting out new music and say they're grinding, yes they are making money but that's it. Beyoncé makes a l b u m s and art and that takes time. I mean you can't expect Beyoncé to do always the same stuff, this album is more fun, you just gotta dance and feel your body, free your sexiness, while still giving you culture and education And that's B e y o n c è I'm just waiting for music videos and tour I'm so curious about costumes and performances, already imagining she gon be sampling her own songs and mixin up Renaissance with Bday, Beyoncé and everything

I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction. The album is beyond fire. The more the album went on the more into you were. No one can resist it
