Damn. Beyonce from the black American culture. Why are you acting so surprised. This is black American culture music. Don't try that bullshit. Kendrick Lamar represents the black American culture. That was sexy redd to do a with a fake Canadian rapper who wants to be a part of the black American culture. So now you hear it, let's go black American culture. This song is 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥

This her get back for Drake dropping honestly nevermind (on Kendrick’s birthday btw) to compete with Renaissance 🤷🏾 this one dropped in 2023 & its a remix of her orginal that came out in 2022.

Legend has it that Beyonce was pissed off at Drake for dropping his underwhelming album Honestly Nevermind during her press release for her still ongoing tour. For petty vengeance, she dropped a call to Kendrick and asked to do a collab for this remix because she mad at Drizzy. He said "say less" and dropped this nugget off awesome lol

You need to do The Heart Part 4, Element, King Kunta, and Family Ties just to name a few K-Dot songs that were addressing Drake. They also did the that remix a year ago.
@Buckaroo_Banzai476 ай бұрын
The heart part 4 was a Drake diss. Also if you listen to the songs Kendrick did at the Pop Out show, a lot of it sounds directed at Drake.
@aceospades76 ай бұрын
I think this song flew under the radar because this version with Kendrick was a remix. He wasn't on the original version on the album. And he was definitely going at Drake on here. The "Hold up, Wait a minute" was a call back to his BET awards cypher freestyle where he dissed Drake after Drake got in his feelings about the Control verse. There's other references to Drake on this song too

The original AHAP was on Renaissance in 2022 the remix came out later that year or early 2023. Y’all need to listen to Renaissance then Cowboy Carter. Also Bey has been rapping since Destiny’s Child. Upgrade U, Partition, SPAGHETTII (on Cowboy Carter), MY HOUSE, etc Also Kendrick and Bey collabed on Bey’s track Freedom from her Lemonade album and also on NILE from her lion king the gift album.

It actually makes a ton of sense if you are a Kendrick fan. It’s technically the continuation of “for free” from To Pimp a butterfly album. The ”bad bitch” on that song was America and now Beyoncé is playing the part of America in this song it is very poetic IMO

Well from what I understand, he's talking about drake and the reason he's doing it on a beyonce track is because they both mad at drake...we know why kendrick hates him, but the reason beyonce mad is because after she hired drake to work on this album and after he found out her direction he went and did something very similar and released it before her...yeah drake steals from everybody...he even used the silver theme just like beyonce did...he's a snake
