I really love how the audience can see each other all the while watching the play. What a lovely community approach to entertainment. That explanation of how some people like being in an empty theatre makes me realize that some very public places do not put the community first. Thank you for telling me something I was missing.

Living in Stratford, I have been watching the metamorphosis of this space on the river for the last 3 years and have been impressed with the beauty of the outer shell. Now, after this introduction to the inside, and the views of the outside from inside, I am swooning and only wish that we could finally get to see a production here. Kudos to Antoni Cimolino and everyone involved in the design and vision in making this happen.

"Going to the bathroom quickly"? There aren't enough stalls in the women's rooms, so there are lines before and after each performance, as well as at intermission.
