Honestly, that's a proper crew space. My views differ a lot on this with a few people I've talked with but I believe that the crew deserves a nice space that's more than an afterthought room down in the deepest part of the vessel because they are the people that help keep the vessel operating and so they should have their own space for some personal time that isn't cramped. A happy crew means a better service to the passengers.

Bering really makes their ships more spacious with their wider and safer builds. Truly ingenious deck layout, putting master and guests below and crew on the main deck. In the case of this size of yacht it really works. I absolutely love the respect for crew, which for long duration voyages IMO would be a huge deal. Happy crew, happy yacht. With the captains quarters on the bridge deck this ship could have a crew of five (my preference) not the listed four, the deck plans for which shows that bridge deck cabin turned into a skylounge.

Blown away by everything about this vessel. Bering is becoming a close second for me when it comes to my next yacht. Nordhavn is still my favorite but Bering is catching up quickly. 5 million for a sturdy, safe, beautiful, reliable, practical… yes, the boxes are checked off. My only hesitation would be maintaining the steel hull and superstructure. Seems like the rusting would be a constant battle.
@jeffalexander54412 күн бұрын
IMO, Bering blows Nordhavn out of the water. Gyro and active fins, the superstructure is second to none along with the sheer volume and fit and finish. Bearings are so quiet, it’s mind boggling.

What hull number is that boat? I love the newer ones, and I like that one too. I'm glad to see the crew being taken well care of in crew quarters. I hate when I see them crammed into leftover crevices of the yacht, like they were an after thought. But, it's not quite right for me. I don't like the step-overs with the watertight doors. Take my case, I love the sea, I love sailing, but I have immense claustrophobia, and I can't see myself in a room completely without windows!
