The conversion really was done expertly. The two salons, lower and upper both made for a really interesting division for me. Lower deck is for living, upper for entertaining. Yet that main salon up was very comfortable looking. Just felt that the entire tour was showing me someones home.

The charter passenger ensuite showers lack seating. Grab handles are not conducive to clean bodies in running seas. The master shower has both a seat and grab handles, so at least they have that going for themselves, as they will be fresh at the dining table.

@paton573 ай бұрын
Guess it's where you're from we call it a wash basin a sink is in the kitchen for washing dishes and it's not being smarmy or pedantic just to correct your smarmy comment
@DillysNZ3 ай бұрын
It's an American thing, they need more information. Hand washing sink (sink), side walk (path), waste paper basket (bin), eye glasses (glasses), racquet ball (squash), horse back riding (horse riding)
@lips59133 ай бұрын
It's not pedantry it's accuracy! A basin is used in bathrooms as it typically is made from porcelain or some other fine finish and has a shallow depth sufficient for hand washing. A sink however is used in a kitchen and is typically made from stainless steel and are deep enough to accommodate a bowl or pan to be washed or for water to be added to a pan. The taps are different between basins and sinks for this reason, the former being smaller and decorative and the latter often have tall swan necks to accommodate pans being filled!!
@Sir_Ock3 ай бұрын
@@lips5913 Or....and hear me out: you have kitchen sinks, and bathroom sinks. I've never heard it called a basin. I understand the premise of it, but it doesn't seem to be a commonly used term.

can this one been operated by only one person i.e. the motor yachts someone buys for him and his family and operates them by himself? I suppose an superior captain's license is required for such a big ship, but I wonder is it is too complicated for one person even if he has this training.

Weel, dinna ken sailors are bloody superstitious! Ye dinna say sinks onboard a vessel aye, it strikes terror into the hearts of sailors. There’re called hand basins. 😂 Some bad Scots from a Canuck across the pond. Anyway I had to laugh as you were talking about the engine room. Between your accent and my deafness I thought you said have you ever seen an engine room behind a sandbox. What??? I finally clued in sound box. And yes in fact I have! On a 60 ft steel trawler hand built by the owner who enclosed the single John Deere propulsion engine in a sound box similar to the two gen sets on board. All approved by John Deere for warranty. No over heating issues. If I remember correctly the owner was an aeronautical engineer and quite innovative with how he constructed the boat literally in his back yard, the features it had etc.
