The material energy has three gunas which are represented with three colours tamo gun - black which is darkness or ignorance, Rajo gun- passion , red and satva gun white . We need have full control over our senses to go beyond this maya . So, anyhow through chanting, listening and remembering, we should endeavor to color our heart in love of the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna. When our heart get colored in His love, it will not be dirtied; it will only become more and more resplendent. या अनुरागी चित्त की गति समुझे नहिं कोय | ज्यों ज्यों डूबे श्याम रंग त्यों त्यों उज्जल होय || - the more we get colored in love for the Lord, the more our heart become clean.
