@@54-xz9hu They confirmed that everyone in this world are all just constant clones from all the previous space voyagers who settled in this system and became sterile from the space radiation for traveling so long from earth. They kept their society going with it and eventually created the hybrid animals we see in the first game to help build everything as slaves. It's really this whole thing, I think they need a comic book or novel to really tell the story.

@@petershortland478 they confirmed that everyone in this series is a clone in BGE2 which is a prequel to this game; the reason is that humanity became sterile from traveling in space being exposed to radiation. In one of the trailers for 2, it shows a pirate hunter to which Pèje (I'm assuming the one we all know) refers to her as "Jade" when she boards their ship. That Jade has green eyes just like our Jade and the Captain from the first trailer. They're all clones

I want Dakini to be the main character of BG&E2 instead of our customizable characters. I’d rather have an online mode similar to GTA to create my own character in multiplayer and in single player focus on Dakini.

Man, where's our sequel, they clearly have some kind of plan, a story waiting to be told. On top of that, it's nice seeing a glimpse of the characters they introduced, in the original style. It feels more cohesive. where's That sequel?

Honestly, I don't understand what these video messages are supposed to tell us. Currently, all we know is that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be a prequel set several generations before the first part. They are creating such a big mystery around Jade, and instead of continuing the story, we are getting a game that we fans have been waiting for... what, 15 years? Just to wait another 15 Years at best for the next Beyond Good and Evil and the conclusion of her Story.

I remember being excited when BG&E2 announcement but they lost me when they said Online only, I wish they'd just done the original sequel back on the PS3 and 360 like they had planned.
