Resi just flush dat shit protect the king valves or txv pull a deep vac and roll tf out. Ain't had a problem in 10 years! Folks don't know why they be talking about. Still here watching WW HVAC and not worrying about your vote, no worries. Maybe a copper tubing bender will assist in getting the refrigerant lines positioned just right so they line up square with the condenser valves prior to soldering them. It's always cool to see the refrigerant lines plumbed in with nice bends etc. right up to the valves and straight in. The joints last longer stress free too. Could be that after the condenser was moved into position after the suction line was soldered, it caused a crack in the joint. Probably a little too hard on it vs. position the condenser first, bend the lines to fit square into the valves without any tension/stress then solder them. As you noted a new regulator was used, not much of a flame is needed to solder correctly which can help with the collateral burning or damages to items close to the torch. Might take a little more time but no hazards/damage/worries/risk etc. Great job on the wiring and other procedures. That hydraulic cart works wonders. We tip our hats to your experience.

try brazing using this method heat the fitting hot enough when you touch the stick to the tubing the solder will melt and move torch back and forth on the fitting and away from the stick( practice this method @home with old tubing & fitting)

Awesome that you got that job. Those tubes are on there without swage joints because people are pressing instead of brazing. Manufacturers would rather have people press versus braze. Less risk of melting a valve or having soot inside the lines to clog up a txv, screen, drier, or even an eev. I was told with the new A2L refrigerants manufacturers are switching to non-swaged attachments. Not sure if that will be across the board or not. I find it convenient that press tools have gone up thousands of dollars within the last few years. People used to have thick skin, now people's skin is so thin it's see through. People get offended and go on the attack when they don't agree with something. It is wild. They are chicken hearted and weak minded. Social media has given people the idea that their opinion matters, but in reality no one's opinion including mine, matters at all. We are all just peasants of the people running the show and social media is another way to keep people distracted and believing that they actually matter. Best wishes out there and stay safe.
