I have a couple full sized padre and the compadre! I would recommend looking into the compadre it’s been in my pocket ever since I got it and well is probably the perfect size IMO! These knives also tend to break in and just get better the more you carry play and use them!

I had two padres too and I got rid of those at some point and now I’m on the compadre. Absolutely my favorite knife man!

The Growler 2 is a very nice knife, however the Padre is on a whole different level, ENJOY ! What's your thoughts on the Microtech Stitch, ramlock, somewhat similar blade shape ?

Thanks for the comment! Absolutely agree, both some great knives but the padre is just something else. I just traded for a stitch and I think the stitch is pretty sweet but I’m going to end up getting rid of it at least for the time being.

The pivot, body, and pocket clip screws are actually T8 my bad on that misinformation. Lock bar insert screw is a T6

I completely get that because wanting belly really depends on the daily tasks you do. I can say it’s definitely pokey and sharp and slicey, so as long at you control the knife when you’re cutting you should good in that aspect. The diamond texturing under the clip is unfortunate because it makes it pretty rough in and out of the pocket. Otherwise this knife is beautiful and so so smooth. I would definitely recommend at least handling it once, even if that means buy it and sell it.
