You know, when it's about Batman and Superman I usually go for Batman thinking that he's invincible and Superman is a crybaby. But this made me like Superman just as muh as Batman. I mean, taking all of Batmans memories, that were by that point possibly eons of being killed and tortured over and over again into his own mind so he could be functional again? Superman is a true friend, dude.

I think there should be a rule about only including unique individuals from a mundane species who have somehow transcended to god like levels. This was a cool concept, and the DC hierarchy of power houses definitely need a scale of some sort. Personally, I think that's why Dr Manhattan is being brought in to the main time line, to bring things to some level of reality. The new "Metal" story line is a strong hint towards that in itself. Can't say for sure obviously, just following where the crumbs go.
