To be fair you're right. Because All-Black is a being in their own right and has enabled other characters to become insanely powerful. The concern now that, since Knull is dead, we've seen symbiotes using their independence to decide to do whatever they want - which would mean All-Black can too.

My biggest fear is that they might nerf Gorr into the ground and make him a one-off villain that will eventually be forgotten (Whiplash, Malekith, Ronan the Accuser, can't recall some of the others). I hope I'm proven wrong - but nonetheless I'm definitely very excited to see what Christian Bale brings to the character.

As much as I'm excited to see Gorr in the MCU, I really concern due to feel like they gonna nerf him and of course, make some comedy joke with him because Taika directing it. Don't get me wrong, yes I enjoy Ragnarok...as a fun comedy movie. But the comic nerd in me, has a little bit disappointed because that is not how I thought Ragnarok movie is gonna be. Is just sad to see Thor(and Hulk) really turn out as a joke in MCU when this two are some of the big badass powerhouse in the comics.

They always nerf heroes and villains in the MCU. Just look at Drax. In the comics, Drax can and have killed Thanos by himself. I'm expecting Gorr in the movies to be as strong as the Thanos in MCU was.

Drax in the comics is insanely powerful and in fact his entire modus operandi in the comics is to kill thanos, he was created for the express purpose of killing him using the soul of Arthur Douglas.

Great video! (As always) I can’t wait to see him in the new Thor movie. I’m hoping they leave enough time for his story to be told decently. I believe that I started around a year to a year and a half ago I found my boy Comics Explained. And I don’t know what “it” is, but I cannot see them making a Gorr the God Butcher that fits and/or meshed the Marvel Universes most powerful @ that time than anyone else in a decade. It sounds like the original god who created all black was at a actual god level to create and control such a powerful weapon, then some random alien who hates gods can wield that overpowered weapon for thousands of years, meanwhile an actual god "Thor" dies in 3 days exposed to it 😳😅

Thor isn’t compatible with The Necrosword though, symbiotes only bond to beings they share chemistry with. That’s why Eddie Brock is the strongest Venom because the bond was so much stronger.

@@rdrezi1717 Gorr get's stronger by killing others, especially by killing gods (which he did for about thousands years) and as this comic pointed out - Gorr got a god status, he was called "god of butchers". Also, Thor later found Knull, god who created Necrosword and almost killed him, but Knull cheated in the fight.
