I’m just coming out of a period of depression where I was very much being beaten up by my thoughts. Determined not to rely on medication, Eckhart’s videos have been a godsend. Nice to be among conscious people in here 🙏 🙏

Eckhart brought me to a deeper level in this video. When he says "listen to the silence between my words," he is inviting us to feel the inner stillness that he is manifesting. His inner stillness is absolute. No thinking, no ego, no emotional baggage, no doing. His inner stillness helps me recognize the inner stillness in myself. I enter the realm of being with him. This is bliss.

It is so helpful to understand that words are just pointers or signposts! To say I'm aware of the stillness was helpful when I began listening to and reading Eckhart's works, and trying to figure out what he was saying. But now I no longer need that sentence. It is more accurate I think to say, I am the stillness, I am the presence, i am the awareness. Or even more simply and accurately....I am! A Human Being not a Human Doing! And the only duality lies in the fact, a seeming paradox(but it's not), that I can only Be in the Now, and I can only Do in the Now! Thank you Eckhart!🙏🏼❤️

What an awesome experience to realise that, after watching this piece, being present is the most meaningful, peaceful and serene place to be. A place where one finds and accepts their true selves and decides to be nothing less nor nothing more of that irrespective of what the external factors may dictate. Thank you so much ❤

We’ve been conditioned since childhood to think we are the person. To think the ego is who we are. To wake up requires constant vigilance and that is exhausting. I try to train my mind to say ty ty ty. Knowing it is just another concept. At least it’s not triggering negative emotions

Knowing what neither you or anyone else can possibly know at this moment in time is an extremely liberating experience that frees you from feeling you need to or should know the unknowable, all those who claim to know the unknowable are either deluding themselves or trying to delude others, personal opinions are absolutely great but personal opinions and beliefs are absolutely anything but universal truths and proven facts, they are simply just personal opinions and beliefs 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I like the word presence, also. In this video, for the first time, I realized that when Eckhart asks us to listen to the spaces between the words, he is inviting us to feel his own inner stillness. Stillness means that Eckhart is speaking from being. In his words, there is no ego, no personality, no agitation or restless mental activity. Only pure being. He manifests being with such power that I enter the realm of being with him. This is a much different experience for me than sitting alone in silent meditation.

🙏 Magic...✨✨✨ " It's always there. God it's always present but completely ignored by most people." Quote E. Tolle I love so much this.❤ IT'S always there. God if we want to call IT that is always close to us in everything that happens to us in joy and pain in injustices and justice in fatigue and rest. IT IS beyond our blindness. The only sin is not perceiving it. It's very difficult because it's very simple. All you need to do is take a step back and stop there in HIS lap.❤ Immensely grateful 💓🙏✨✨🌺✨

Who is it that decided that this is the only sin? The very concept of sin is a human invention so therefore without thought there is no sin at all. There is of course kindness and cruelty, being nice or nasty, being humble or egotistical, but sin is very much a human invention much like religion 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@veraintuizione6497 hi, I personally have a very strong belief in God but not in any religious way, we and everything else all got here somehow but absolutely no one genuinely knows how and I personally don't have clue, how could I have. But I do know it's impossible to get absolutely everything from absolutely nothing so something somewhere must have always existed and be the causation and reason for there being absolutely everything there is including ourselves. Whatever that reason and causation is I believe in, trust in and I am so very grateful to that reason for there being everything without the need to know or create a story to explain the reason for everything, if any of that makes any sense at all 😊🙏🙏🙏🙏
@johngreen46839 ай бұрын
@@veraintuizione6497 hi I totally respect you right to your feelings and beliefs, my own personal belief in God is not very different to your own. I believe there is a reason for there being absolutely everything rather than nothing absolutely nothing at all and I refer to that reason as God but others prefer the name the source. I personally just don't subscribe to any stories or claims made about God or in God's name because how can anyone anywhere truly know what they claim to know about God. Personal beliefs and rules to follow are absolutely fine but it's not to be expected of others to follow our personal beliefs and personal rules 🙏🙏🙏🙏

10:25 Meditation is to become aware of space within. Be totally at ease with the present moment, a very rare state for humans. Pay attention to the underlying stillness. Stillness transcends the person and life situations, you or others. Miracle is finding the transcendent dimension within. This is satisfaction. This is discovery now, not achievement in the future. God is always present but completely ignored. Thanks Eckhart. 13 February 2024. 🐳🏃🌺🌴😎🛎⛵️😎🐎🐎

I live on the Island of Malta where today February 10, 2024 is a feast day/holiday because we celebrate the accidental shipwrecked arrival of Saint Paul on the island. Hi no disrespect but Christian claims and beliefs about history go back 2000 years and the old testament that predates but is incorporated into Christianity claims the Earth is 6,000 to 10,000 years old, and yet the Aboriginal people of Australia have a scientifically proven history which date's back 75,000 years which is obviously in total conflict with Christian claims about historical events. I really hope you enjoy your festival and your personal beliefs but please note Christian history is most definitely not factual history and should only ever be claimed to be so inside the confines of Christian, churches, organisations or online forums where they cannot be deemed as conversion or cohesion tactics as otherwise they are always likely to be challenged by someone from the overwhelming majority of Earths 8 billion people who do not subscribe to Christianity and its teachings or its claims about history. Sorry but it is important for us all to only share our own opinions and beliefs as personal opinions and beliefs and not as factual truths unless of course we can provide genuine proof of them that would be accepted both in a court of law and by mainstream science 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” Buddha quotes (Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C.)

Eckhart says to have "achieving stillness" as a goal would imply that time is involved, so you would never find it isn't quite right, b/c one day he "achieved enlightenment" (even though it wasn't a goal); the day before he wasn't enlightened, so time sort of was involved. I can think of several people who did have "achieving stillness", or awakening as a goal, and they did "achieve" it.
@stevekille62398 ай бұрын
Language is weird. Enlightenment cannot be "achieved" because it is not in the realm of doing. It can be discovered, but that is not quite right either. It can be realized. Eckhart mentions that the timeless dimension is always present in every person, but is usually unrealized.
