Bite, tail-fan, pounce, and bark with defense feathers. After you unlatch from a pounce tail-fan to boost away as your target is guaranteed attacking you, then stam up and bark. Repeat. With defense feathers you can take a hit or two without dying. I have found this is best for large targets. For smaller targets use ripping kick. Killed alot of stuff with ripping kick. Stay strong my fellow Deinonychuses. 😎
