Roscrea might just be my favourite of the bunch. Similar to Skyrim, but still enough difference to feel unique.

Pretty darn. One is team of professionals being paid to make a game. The other is a group of passionate fans with their own lives volunteering to make a mod. Not to mention these mods of this scope never see the light of day. The exception of course being Fallout London, Enderal, and hopefully soon, Skyblivion. Every time I see another project announced I hear Omni-Man say "What's 17 more years?"

@@alexshriner86 good points, but at least the volunteers have been updating us, as for the professionals, their project has so far been more of a prophecy to speculate than an actual game to look forward to. And even if the full project doesn't 100% finish, I'd still wager we'll at least get one or two expansions

@@CherryBotV2 Complaining about AI and trying to oppose it is like trying to stop the tide from rising. An absolute waste of energy. It's going to happen, regardless of what you or I or anyone else wants. Modders using it to get higher quality mods released is fine with me, especially when the alternative is often paying someone far more than they're worth to read a script.

This looks really good! Though imo dagnar should really not be protected/essential, there should be a failure state for the quest if he dies in the dungeon, would add some stakes to the quest

Yeah, presumably it was unlisted. When you make a video unlisted, it retains the date of when it was uploaded, but isn't visible until you make it public.

I think that there should be a race expansion pack as well.. because there are more than what were allowed to play as.. I wish you guys would take this into account as well. Or at least have them be random encounters...

I am hugely looking forward to this mod. I always felt that Skyrim was particularly less Nordic than I imagined it would be, and this area definitely doubles down on the viking era nordic vibes. Also, poor Dagnar. I get it, no one wants to kill the nice old man, but letting him rot away in sadness and disappointment is crueler. Especially for someone who believes that an eternity surrounded by the honored ancestors awaits them. Making you kill him is still sorta wrong, but taking away his axe in the end? That's just cruel. You don't have to kill him, but you shouldn't deny him his right to try again at an honorable end.

At the very least, I'm more forgiving that these are taking a while to make. Not only are they free mods being made by volunteers, it's been well-recorded that Bethesda didn't even start on TES 6 until 2018.
