I'm so happy you enjoyed !! Thought you would !! Jack actually took 'whispering' from Pot Black snooker commentator 'Whispering Ted Lowe' after he was introduced by mistake as 'Jack Phantom', apparently while visiting a jazz club in the U.S., and as Tommy below says, Jack's comeback album in the mid-1980s was/is titled 'Whispering Jack'. lol, he totally botched that first verse. :) not that it matters. One of my favourite things about John's concerts back in the 80's and 90's was how they were always broadcast live on TV (usually on 7) and simulcast on the local radio stations. It was like a national event! This is one of my favourite John Farnham songs. I've always wondered what he sings about "the grapes of wrath" in the coda, though (around 4:30). Does anyone know? Thanks for uploading this!
