I was only 6 months old when the concert aired. My parents taped it that night up here in Sydney. I absolutely love this concert and over the years i watched that tape more times than I care to think. Excellent work Maurice and everyone involved in the production. Also, if you know, who provided the sound and the lighting for the televised concert? I know Chris Newman was the LD, do you remember what equipment they were using?

I was always a little sad that some older underappreciated songs like this never made an appearance in his later live sets. I understand he didn't feel comfortable performing Help any more, but even The Time Has Come would have been great to make it's way into the sets

I went to the concert in Sydney. Great memories. Sam Brown and Southern Sons were the supports. I felt Farnsey was at his best around this time.

I like the other concert you can buy on DVD just as much as this one. It's the one with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Watch both pretty equally. Wish Glen Wheatley would put out more of his concerts on DVD!!

If all parents got picked on to this extent no one would have their kids with them they would all be the governments property to do what they like with ,I don't buy expensive shoes but mine don't go hungry ,your just single parents out to take the heat off other people ,I don't make a habit of having kids taken off me regardless of what anyone else thinks .
