Absolutely love sort of comparing with similar rackets from other brands. Pretty intuitive way to know how new rackets feel!

It'll be cool if you have the racquets in front of you while you talk. So the next time you talk about Blades v9, you can have all of the v9s on the table for example.

Very detailed review guys! I just switched from speed pro to Percept 100d. Speed is very strong on serve and return however to high swing weight. 100d is more well rounded all court racket. Very happy with both though)

what would be good is some sample vid what you guys were talking about. Overall appreciate the format.

Sample vid? Not sure what you mean? The reviews of the playtests are linked in the description. And a teaser for this episode can be seen here: kzbin.infov1rOM8cduXQ Michelle, TW

@@tenniswarehouse when you are talking about a particular shoe/racket; have a crop of image on screen or link would be good. Example, CC was interpreting Gel 9 as Joe 9. Stuff like that makes the items described murky.

Talking about poly / poly set-ups, I am currently playing my 2023 Vcore 95 with Hyper G 16L mains @48 / Polytour Fire 16L crosses @48, which I find surprisingly good. They're both middle of the road in terms of firmness, so no comfort issue in a soft frame like the VC95. Spin is very good, owing to the aggressive shape of Hyper G, and the slickness of PT Fire allowing teh mains to move freely and snap back. With the added benefit that a round poly cross makes Hyper G a bit more predictable and consistent. The bright green / red looks is a bit of an acquired taste, though, as it's pretty jarring. But hey, it plays well, at least for me.

Is it a good line for players around 3.0-3.5?
@tenniswarehouse Жыл бұрын
The Percept 100 might be an option, but typically for a 3.0 to 3.5 player we would recommend something from the EZONE or VCORE line, a bit easier to use in general. Troy, TW

Interesting that is what you got out of this...I think all of us actually have a Percept in the line we would keep in our bag! Michelle, TW

@@tenniswarehouse oh, TW you are not the only one doing reviews. In your case , nice to hear. I was disappointed by the vcore pro line. I will keep the vcore 95 in one of my bags.

Ahhh gotcha, assumed you meant that is what you heard in the pod. All good. That line of racquets definitely has a smaller niche of players who love it vs. the EZONES in my opinion. But there's something for everyone in the lineup! Michelle, TW

I can't speak for other reviewers, but we test the racquets for at least a month. When it comes to a line like the Percepts I think that really matters. When I hit them over the first week I was lukewarm. Then as the test wore on I connected better with the feel and response and really started to explore what each model could offer me. After a month of testing I was enjoying the 97 and the 100D a lot. I found I could be very creative with my shot making with both. I also enjoyed the stability and comfort the more and more I hit them. Cheers, Chris, TW.
