One of the unconventional, different and most relatable speeches I've ever heard. MMD is truly a successful beauty queen despite of having been judged and most criticized queen. Yet, she managed to be resilient and pushes herself to stand her advocacies and not being ashamed of. She is one of the most empowered Filipina knowing that she is the Philippines Tourism Ambassadress. We have the same story back in college when I also almost faailed to graduate and it is one of my lowest points because my mother passed away due to Kidney Disease. But I remained determined and looked back what is my reason to continue my dreams and who I dedicated my achievements in life. It is not bad to be different. Being different is unique. Being different what makes you stand out to be recognized what is your story all about. I am also a part of LGBTQIA+, I am different and I am limitless🏳️‍🌈

Just an honest feedback. I am an MMD fan but this was a disappointing talk. The talk was all about herself, as usual. Here in the US, Tedx talks are not about oneself. It's generally idea-focused to foster learning, inspiration and wonder. And the speaker is not allowed to use a cheat-sheet (outline from a cell phone). They truly have to speak from the heart.
