I do think it’s important for women to be financially independent because then they always have power over their own life always.

what kind of relationship were you having with your husband?!?!? Isn't it obvious to have some autonomy and things which you do without your partner, taking care of individual goals? Also when your husband earns that much money and you help out just insisit on being paid its also better for taxes..if you are "employed" at your husbands company he can save some money by paying it to you and save it from being put into taxes. Also prenup?!?!? obviously the money he owned before is his and the one I owned before is mine, but the money we made during the marriage is ours and gets divided through 2. Also usually but maybe thats an asian thing, its the woman handling the money. Like my dad gave my mom the card and she was the one dividing it and making investments with the leftover. My dad didnt know much how much was going on, except the stuff he got from his parents. Yes, it is sooo important to focus when you are young on education and making some monney and tthe right investment. Also when getting married making sure that the money you made before is safe!!!
