So, does it go slow and still have torque ? This has been on my ali wishlist for some time but i don't need a tracked basher but have looked for a tracked vehicle (preferably no tank, not into military) that can go slow. I also hate how they make tanks with steering wheels on the remote, i think it should be left - front/back, right front/back, so that you can also stop one side and turn only one track - thats how (i think) a real tank is (was) steered.

Jjrc designs are very decent..i have the 1/16 brushless truggy,has a great radio with dual rates steering...only mods i did was aluminum shocks, better steering servo and installed a cheap $10 external gyro...handles incredible,fast and loads of torque on stock 2s pack...😊

I LOVE that you've become this budget R/C car channel! There's some unbelievably good cars out there to be had for a reasonable price. There has been another version of the Ripsaw tank that has been available for a while now, is this one you are reviewing today from the same manufacturer as in a 2.0 version? Or is this something entirely new from another manufacturer? Regardless, I have a feeling I'm going to be ordering one over the weekend! LOL!

I believe that last one was from SG models and not very good. This is JJRC so completely different brand and different design.

Looks smaller than the old sg1203 ripsaw. Nice to have more tracked options but doesn't seem like anything has beat the sg1203 yet. The sg also has a crappy transmitter, it's biggest downside

Stock SG1203 indeed crappy but the RC have potential. Once you put proper dual ESC & use lipo battery it's turn into beast. Real downside is no spare part for the gears, if that part break then game over.

Looks quite a bit smaller than the sg1203 and a bit slower. I switched my sg to lipo and it prepped it up some.

I do a bit of everything on my channel. Cheap/expensive, small/big, slow/fast there are a huge variety of vids on my channel. Not sure why this one is so offensive 🤔 it’s slow yes but super cool and incredibly cheap. Just don’t get some people.. it’s easier just to skip vids than to tell the creator what’s so wrong with it when a huge percentage of the other vids are what you want to see. Don’t like it just skip past. 😂
