I noticed two matters while watching this video: 1. When you wish to skip an encounter, you draw the encounter card first then decide if you want to spend the XP. That was, you can base your decision on how nasty the card is. 2. When you set up, the target tile should not be on the bottom of the pile. I suspect that you decided to place the tiles that were supposed to be below the target tile back into the box. Why does it make a difference if the target tile is the last one you are likely to need? Because when you are instructed to draw from the bottom, you will be able to draw from the bottom and make no progress in the game (if you draw from the top, you will be one tile closer to the end, which is not the intention). That said, I often just make a second pile and draw the bottom tiles from the second pile, as that has the same effect.

Regarding your point #2, I noticed that happened in Part 1 as well. Drawing from the top of the stack gets you closer to the secret stairs earlier than you should be. I've yet to see anyone escape the tomb without making mistakes that ultimately benefited them. 2:05 - Since you already had a Spider under your control, the rules say you are supposed to discard the spider and draw a new monster. (Page 7, Exploration Phase, Step 3. "...If you draw a Monster Card that matches a Monster Card already in play in front of you, discard that Monster Card and draw again.") 7:10 and 13:20 - Even though the Crossbow Turret missed you, you still take 1 damage. Because this game is the biggest troll of all time. 16:05 - You're still within 1 tile of the Crossbow Turret, so it gets to attack you again. (Dealing 1 more damage even if it misses, trolololol.) To the video creator - to be clear - I'm thoroughly enjoying this playthrough. Thank you for posting. I want to love this game, but it seems virtually impossible to win if you follow the rules as they are written.
