I think that the RDJ as Doom scenario is actually more confusing than Jason as Lobo. RDJ's Iron Man appeared in far more MCU movies that had ALOT of importance to the MCU as a whole. Aquaman barely had any significant impact on the DCeU and his appearances as the character pales in comparison to RDJ as Iron Man, lets be real here.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? Was a great adaptation of The Odyssey that wasn't an explicit retelling of the story but definitely was a great film. It was one of my favorites growing up and The Soggy Bottom Boy's "I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow" was such a good song I still remember it to this day.

Re: Lobo's powers, he can also regenerate qickly, which is an important part of his attitude and fearlessness. He's virtually unkillable, so he jumps face-first into any conflict with little regard for anyone's safety, including his own. He's a walking bar fight, and Mamoa will kill the role.

Jason Momoa as Lobo: I can see it. He sure has the looks, all you need is some grey and black body paint. Lobo would be a good rival/reluctant ally to Supergirl. He is super strong, can breathe in space, is a good shooter and, on account of having been banned from both Heaven and Hell, is practically immortal. Lobo also is famously unlucky with women, they usually find him too crude and violent (he did have a fling with Harley Quinn once). It's very unlikely, that he and Supergirl would hit it off. The problem: Lobo is very much a product of his time. He was created as a caricature of 80ies action heroes. You know the type: young Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Lundgren. Guys with big muscles, big guns and a hottie hanging on each limb. And Lobo is very hard to update. They tried in the New 52 and it was a disaster. I would love for them to pull it off, Lobo is such a fun character.

In my opinion, Sonic 3 is the best videogame movie to date! It is not a shot for shot remake of Sonic Adventure 2, but I really like how it gave the overall feel and emotions from the game!

I was gifted a membership - thank you BTT community. I do not like Charlize Theron as Penelope. Penelope is to the Iliad/Odyssey what Ophelia is to Hamlet/Shakespeare. Penelope is steadfast and true - a quiet strength with steely resolve - not an edgy, empowered heroine who takes matters into her own hands. Leave that to the goddesses in the story. Also, Christopher Nolan would be wise to revisit the last great film on this subject matter (IMHO) which is, "Clash of The Titans" from 1981. RIP Ray Harryhausen; I miss you very much.

The key difference between Snyder and Gunn is that James Gunn loves comics, yes his content so far may be very male-focused, but I have more hope for him than Snyder.
