The end credit scenes had me literally screaming. They really built upon what the first film started and took it to another level. I'm so happy the studio execs green lit (lanterned ??) this wacky concept, backing the right team of creatives who really brought the entire endeavor together so spectacularly. It is very timely considering the box-office juggernaut that super-hero franchise movies are right now, to have Deadpool here commenting and parodying right along side (while also contributing a la X-men) is perfect.

I can't think of anything I would change about this film. It was so good. I pee'ed a bit in my pants because I didn't want to take time out to go to the restroom. I absolutely loved Domino. The parachute jump scene was hilarious mostly because that was the one truly unexpected occurrence. No one predicted that.

I'm not familiar with Domino but I loved her character in the movie. I also told my friend she had "Final Destination" powers! I was also really impressed with the way they handled the weight of the emotional scenes in the movie. None of the important tragic moments of Thor Ragnarok, for example, made me feel much of anything, honestly. With Deadpool 2 I fought back tears of laughter and sadness. I was really wiping them away during the end credit scenes.

I'm not trying to p.c. police Grace but I don't think "race bent" is the right way to describe Domino. In the comics she has no obvious race to speak of (she's paper white with a black spot), so I would say it's more of a "race take" or a "race angle" and those terms would still be applicable if she were Caucasian with a birthmark in this movie instead. If Cable were black in this movie, for instance, then he would be race bent.

The MCU never opened a door in regards to Steve and Bucky. They're fricking friends, they aren't in love with one another. Dumb people have tried to take their friendship and turn it into something that fits their narrative. But Steve and Bucky have always only been friends not lovers or anything like that. Great review! Saw it today and I agree with everything you said. It was an excellent film. I was glad he didn't try to compete with the first film. He really put together a great story. I especially like the fact Reynolds didn;t cater to the X Force as straight ahead as it played in the trailers. Watching virtually all of them perish was hysterical.I especially liked Peter. I loved how he rubbed sunscreen on his face before jumping out of the plane but then sat on the edge of the plane to jump. Too funny.

I thought juggs couldve appeared more unstoppable and needed all of them at the end to actually stop him seeing as how he is a "juggernaut" in the comics. Cable was great, i understand that theres a few different versions of Cable like Venom so its kind of difficult to nail it dead on but it is a Deadpool movie and i understand that they have a looser approach and some aspects are jusy having fun with the characters apposed to Venom where (for some reason) if he doesnt look a very specific way then the character is shunned from all humanity but i digress. Deadpool was great and i loved it. My gf's favorite part was Juggs

One running joke in the movie for me was how few lines Yukio had.. "Hi Wade" Kinda a dig at how hollywood now includes a character of Asian descent (target: China movie audience) and gives them a line or two due to their sometimes limited grasp of English. However I really wished for stronger female rep, as it still felt a little lacking in terms of screen time and dialogue.
