This was a great zoo, they have lots of open green space too

Also did you hear that they also used to have Elephants but then they got rid of them and now it's the Australian Walkabout exhibit
@TomsRoadTrippin2 ай бұрын
So many zoo's lost the ability to properly house elephants due to lack of space. It's sad they lost their elephants but in the end it's what's best for them. I'm glad the new regulations require more space

Also, I'm not sure if you heard this but did you know that they actually plan to bring Pandas back to the USA soon and they are going to have them at three different locations as follows which they will be returning to the San Diego and National Zoo and they are planning to get them at the San Francisco Zoo as well
@TomsRoadTrippin2 ай бұрын
I am happy to hear the US is getting Giant Pandas again. I figured it would happen again despite what happened with the loss of the two. The breeding program was a success in the US so it makes sense to continue

Zoo Atlanta and San Diego Zoo actually have Giant Pandas. San Diego just got their new pair from China in June and have been on exhibit since August 8th(actually just got to see them a few weeks ago!). Zoo Atlanta still has their old pair and their two fullgrown cubs, all 4 of Atlanta's bears are slated to back to China later this year. No news yet on whether Atlanta will get a new pair or not. Smithsonian National Zoo is also getting their new pair of bears by December.

The animals usually like to say inside a rock or there comfort place u can spot them if ur lucky
@TomsRoadTrippin2 ай бұрын
Several of the habitats had a lot of places where the animals could be hidden. That's nice to see a natural looking habitat but it also makes it harder to see them
