I've been to Waco, but I didn't know about the zoo, I have been to Cameron Park though. Cameron Park is really large and beautiful.

Hi, loved this video as a rundown of what to expect going to this zoo!! its great how detailed you document all of the signs! I just noticed at first you called the jaguars "cougars" where you might be thinking how black jaguars/leopards are called "black panthers" where "panther" and "cougar" actually refer to mountain lions (also pumas!) and then on your re-walk just after seeing the mountain lions, at the texas cats sign you said they're one that the zoo doesn't have, I think because you were thinking "cougars"- lots of names for these cats!

Hey Tom! I just finished the video. I apologize for the extremely late comment man, I worked almost all week which took up my evening and by the time I get home, the only thing that’s on my mind is bed. Then of course I have school. But that aside, I really enjoyed this video! Very nice selection of animals! I especially enjoyed the reptile house, I enjoyed the green anaconda the most I think! There may have been only one elephant on habitat maybe because it’s a bull elephant, which live alone. All of the signage was absolutely amazing, the information, artwork, just wow! I also really enjoyed the freshwater and saltwater buildings. Three things relax me: Sitting by a campfire, watching fish in a fish tank and doing recovery at work. That’s when I get a cart-full of stuff and put it back on the shelves. Oh and I don’t remember the time stamp but you called one of the tortoises the wrong name. I think it was a Sulcata and you called it Aldabra by mistake if I remember correctly. I think that’s it for me Tom! Again, sorry it took so long. I’m going to try my very best to finish your next video before the next one comes out man. I’m off most of this week except tomorrow which is the last day of my week long stretch. Looking forward to your reply as always Tom!

That place is working you hard Noah, I hope your making the Big Bucks at least. The reptile house was really nice. I couldn't tell if the elephant had a second trunk or not. The zoo's layout was fantastic, I much enjoyed the full color signage throughout the zoo. A great selection of animals with beautiful habitats. I hope you have a little downtime between school and work. Thanks for continuing to support my channel. Getting close to 5K now 😁

@@TomsRoadTrippin Yeah Tom they make me work that’s for sure! I’ve impressed all my managers with the exception of my assistant East Indian manager Prateek. But apparently he’s not a good manager and nobody likes him, not even the store manager. But all the other managers in the store are really impressed with me! I am earning quite a bit! I am here for when you reach 5K! So excited! Yes I agree the whole zoo was beautiful! Expect a comment on Ellen Trout Zoo Wednesday or Thursday. After tonight, I have 4 days off luckily

I always made a visit here when I had to travel to Waco for work (visiting local zoos were my main amusement for my free time when I was spending my life "on the road"). Probably the best small zoo I've been through and all the animals has lots of room with great enclosures and all looked very healthy and in great condition. I did not see any "stereotypical movements" among the inhabitants. If you get there right when they open you get to see a lot of the animals eating their breakfasts!

This is an exceptional zoo, very enjoyable to walk around. I usually get to zoo's at opening so It's nice to see many of the animals enjoying a meal.
