I agree, I mean, the GOL is a bit more accurate I think, but since it has no mildots on the reticle it's had to adjust to range.

Man, I miss BC2. I miss the recon class on BC2. I miss the moments when I've been camping and nealy got a heart attack, because of the loud bang a sniper bullet does when going through your head. Good old times.

what i define as long range is anything where you have to aim a full notch or more above them with the 12x and 2 or more notches without 12x take for example a GOL or the M95 with 12x and magnum ammunition,you can easily pull off shots that would give 400 xp bonus for the marksman

There was really no point in replying though, because 500 was the max point bonus for range. Thus I made max points with the last few shots I showed in this video. The only way to top that would be with an amazing double kill headshot or similar. Which of course would be worth posting!!!

no, the barrett does not have the same bullet drop, very little because technicly its bullet drop falls under the class of heavy machine gun bullet drop, which doesnt really affect you until you get to very long ranges

Nice as usually. I was just playing at friends house BF:BC2 on PS3. Great game, I got no proofs, but it even was not that good, but I got 314 at Arican Harbour, if i recall the map name right.

i put a camara in front of my bed which is pointing at the tv and i aimed it at the middle of my sniper scope where the horizantal and vertical lines meet and i see my enemy up close so i know exactly where to shoot and i can calculate the bullet drop better it is VERY helpful.

As far as the most points you can get from a single shot is 590 50 for the kill + 10 for the headshot + max of 500 marksman bonus + objective defence/attack bonus of 30

on where praytell would this be? the only map like that i can think of would be african harbor,in which the longest headshot i've SEEN made gave 540 marksman points,it was with a GOL 12x scope

@ryandpahl i agree with what you say. its just some people seem to have something against what i said about a freaking game, and its just hilarious that people seem to take it kinda seriously. ultimately what i said depends on perspective so their is no "right" way of sniping, after all we are talking about a video game.

I hit 2 shots today. one for 475 and 476. I hit a guy in the tower that your shooting at during 2:50-3:00 from the U.S. Army spawn. Probably coulda maxed it out at 560 if i back up even further... gonna have to try now! ^^

i guess the most points you can get with a single shot are 610! 500 marksman headshot + 50 points for the kill + 50 points revenge or savior + 10 points headshot

THe GOL has better accuacy but, it is pretty hard to count 'pixels' or 'mildots' I prefer the GOL for teh accuacy but not for long range shots, anyone agreed?
