I did this one last year, did it as a shot down BE109 in and Sussex field, with small robbed out stone wall and a few sheep in there for bring it alive. Good model to build. Only regret is I didn't get aftermarket parts, just built right out the box. But saying that maybe aftermarket parts would have changed the direction of the Dio I was after... Class build me ol lad

Cheers pal I sometimes get aftermarket parts and use them but in all honesty if the kits a good one I tend to build out the box

I’ve just come across your channel, whilst browsing aircraft build videos and have now subscribed. Absolutely fantastic build, and finishing. I have been looking to get back into model making after a very long break, and after watching your build of the Bf109 E you have inspired me to finally take the plunge and start model making again. I have just ordered an Edward 1/48 Messerschmitt BF 109 F 2/4 kit to have a go with. If it turns out half as nice as the one you have build in your video, I’ll be very happy. Great video and fantastic modelling. I’m off to watch some of your other video’s now, for more inspiration.

That's great to hear Eduard is probably my most favourite bf109 that I have built The Eduard weekend editions are great buys as well because they are essentially the same kit but without as many decal options and no photo etch and masking but at nearly half the price of a profipack version

Fantastic video, I got the profi pack of this but I’m saving it for quieter times to get a good run at it.

The profi packs usually have masking template and pe cockpit panels and seatbelts and that should make it pop more

I got the tool from a hobby store called Hobbycraft The tool is called model raft pick and place double ended tool Cost £10.50p You can get similar from Amazon ect just search sticky pick up tool

I like this paint job. What size needle did you use for the "dots"? There is one thing you missed that many others also miss. There is a panel line all the way down the aft fuselage on the top and bottom of 109s. I subscribed.

i used a 0.2 needle for the dots thanks for letting me know about the panel line i will have to remember it for the next one hopefully and thanks for subscribing it helps a lot

Nice idea but I prefer to build and then paint
