This map rework is actually pretty good, had some good fun on it... As a M&K player i can say that the mouse feels better but not perfect. I hope they continue on this path. Now rework all the old still shit maps, make classes out of the specilist and we have a decent Bf game.

I played about 100h and had some good fun with friends on 2042. The game has issues big issues but that doesn't mean you can't have a good time with your mates. Sadly enough no game fills the bf experience for me apart from old titles. Even how shit 2042 was at the start, there was no game quite like it.

If you mean the visible beam, weapon lasers will do that IRL. Especially in a humid or smoke/dust filled environment. But yeah, it is a little over exaggerated, especially for a red laser. Source: me, owning and using weapon lasers on my rifles and pistols for years.

i dont think this will make as much of a comeback as the other ones usually do because first of all, this game looks kinda like a mobile game and is ugly at certain times and it is still laggy as fuck for some reason, the gunplay and reload animations are horrible compared to bf5 and bf1 and i just think that there is no reason to use anything other than an anti air tank or a helicopter 99% of the time which ruins the fun of being an infantry player or literally anything else. i like bf2042 but it will definitely not make as much of a comeback as bf5 or bf1 because those games were masterpieces but bf2042 was just some overhyped mobile game

2042 is definetly on the right path at the time I'm writing this. New maps are good, some of the best, even, and old maps are getting reworked. Now they just need to rework Hourglass. Also, one of BF4's devs came back so that's awesome news. I'm actually having fun playing 2042. It's one of the only games I sit down and play just for the heck of it.

It can fight back as much as it wants , it wont change anything. Core elements are missing , maps are not war-torn and look too clean , specialists still have voicelines that make me want to quit the game etc. Other than that the maps were clearly designed for 128 players so removing 128 p breakthrough was a big mistake. The 64p version of BR is incredibly awful and made me switch to Conquest 128p. I am still angry that they ended the support for BFV for this mess of a game called 2042. With the addition of the Eastern Front BFV could have been even bettet than BF1 , because movement and gunplay is much better in BFV.

I play it daily on a Base PS4 from 2015 and it is a very good experience, feels like Battlefield, pays really well. There is no input lag and the poor rendering is just at the start of the match on the player models for like less than a minute. For the rest, the graphics now look awesome, also the tornado. It mantains 60 fps most of the time really.

Yes for sure. It’s NOT generic at all, if it was people would’ve liked it more. There’s been a lot of innovation as far as BF goes, the old guard hates it but other newer less rigid players like it. Is it worth buying? Its so cheap now, you’ll definitely get your monies worth.
