Theory: On 8:52, Two tries to start the intro, but fails, and Gaty instead initiates it. This may imply that One has plans to make a deal with Gaty, as Gaty has the strongest connection with Two out of all the contestants in TPOT. So, One gave the power to Gaty to initiate the intro, which hints that One will make a deal with Gaty. Since Two also couldn't initiate the intro, that means he's losing power due to the contestants making deals that have more than just what One says.

I actually had a similar theory to that, where i have been noticing recently that he keeps getting stuck to things, more recently on tv with the glue. What if it’s foreshadowing for him making the deal with one, regretting it later but can’t get out of the deal due to the agreements? Making him stuck figuratively and literally in one’s scheme. But idk how One would tempt him to make a deal, maybe strengthen the pact in some way or make the pact as a whole more effective at preventing things that can cause the death of other people.

If the line in BFB 3 is just a reference, and X is always gonna equal Seven, he could still be useful. He clearly also has power, as shown in BFB, but is overshadowed by Four, which could be used to their advantage. I think it would be a nice callback to "X finds his value." Sidenote: I think One may not have a way to take power. Maybe she'll use the contract to get a basketball disguise since she has her footprint and could use that somehow? Like if basketball wins TPOT, and One takes her place to get the power that Two is meant to give to the winner.
