I would like to acknowledge how at 21:34, tree opens the door and, for a second, seemingly doesn’t know how he did it. Maybe this has something to do with one, maybe a way to, when/if tree meets them, get tree more intrigued to make a deal with them. Just a thought :P

I actually had a similar theory to that, where i have been noticing recently that he keeps getting stuck to things, more recently on tv with the glue. What if it’s foreshadowing for him making the deal with one, regretting it later but can’t get out of the deal due to the agreements? Making him stuck figuratively and literally in one’s scheme. But idk how One would tempt him to make a deal, maybe strengthen the pact in some way or make the pact as a whole more effective at preventing things that can cause the death of other people.

I got another theory for ya guys! (Contains spoilers for this episode, so please proceed with caution) At 7:35, we can see needle with a sad face looking into the distance, not paying attention to anything else. Now, most would assume (last chance to avoid spoilers, plz don’t yell at me if you get spoiled 3: /j) that she looked like this because she had just been announced eliminated. However, I don’t think this is the case.. what if she saw *one* coming. I mean, that is something one would do, sneak up when everyone is panicking about something else. And the next scene that needle was mentioned, she was gone with barf bag. (Later revealed to be obviously, one’s dimension.) that’s all I got :> Also, I didn’t mention this in my other comment, but WOW is the animation good. :3 they really stepped it up!

23:44 If One somehow has a way of taking power from other numbers, then I think the only one who can stop One if she gets more power is the other numbers and / or X. Since X can have any value depending on the equation. In BFB 3, Four says to X, "Well, I'm not the one who doesn't know their value." So currently, X is undefined. We've seen numbers being added, multiplied, and subtracted before. So they could make X a stronger number than one. If the line in BFB 3 is just a reference, and X is always gonna equal Seven, he could still be useful. He clearly also has power, as shown in BFB, but is overshadowed by Four, which could be used to their advantage. I think it would be a nice callback to "X finds his value." Sidenote: I think One may not have a way to take power. Maybe she'll use the contract to get a basketball disguise since she has her footprint and could use that somehow? Like if basketball wins TPOT, and One takes her place to get the power that Two is meant to give to the winner.
